Megan L Schutter                                                       
Athletic Training, Physical Therapy

Megan became interested in athletic training because it
combines both athletics and sports medicine. Athletic training Megan believes also provides excellent hands-on experience for phyiscal therapy. Megan's clinical assignment is track and cross country both sports that Megan participated in when she was in high school.

Julia East
Sports Medicine, Orthopedic surgeon

During high school Julia was a motivated
athlete who spent alot of time with her high shcool
athletic trainer. She knew after spending countless
hours in physical therapy that one day she would want to work with athletes and make a difference in her athletes lives. Julia enjoys the comradery, the hands-on learning experiences, the personal relationships with professors and the athletes. Currently Julia is a head swim coach at a local YWCA.
                                                 
Jen Wingert
Athletic Training, Physical Therapy    

Jen first became interested in the athletic training major because she was interested in the clinical experiences that PLNU had to offer. In Jen's own words "The clinical experience in the athletic training program is so extensive than any other major, and I thought it would prepare me much better for grad school. " Jen enjoys working with athletes and "making them feel better!"
Breanna Dell
Athletic Training

During preview week as a incoming student Breanna wondered into a classroom that Dr. Kugler was teaching and the first thing he did was pray for the students and the lecture - that for Breanna was the deciding factor for coming to PLNU and choosing the athletic training major. Breanna enjoys the hands on experience and the one on one relationships with the athletes and coaches. She also enjoys "the mutual respect, encouragement, and spiritual mentorship she gets in the relationships with her professors.

Dustin Janzen
Athletic training

Dustin has always had an interest in sports. His interest in athletic training stems from his fascination with the human body. Dustin enjoys the fellowship and the ability to servce athletes and peers. This summer (2006) Dustin served at the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Visalia Oaks.
Melissa Roberson
Athetic Training

As a former athlete in El Cajon, California, Melissa enjoys working with athletes in the athletic setting. "Seeing someone recover from an injury and get to play a sport they love is one of the most rewarding feelings in the world," Melissa says. What Melissa enjoys most about athletic training is the ability to work with the "best people and the most amazing athletes."
