Ataide was also recently on KOGO with San Diego Broadcaster George Chamberlin interviewed Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship, Randy M. Ataide on his “Money in the Morning” radio show on Sunday April 19, 2009.

During the 15 minute interview, Chamberlin and Ataide discussed PLNU and the Fermanian School of Business, and focused extensively on entrepreneurial efforts in the San Diego community by the Business School and its Business Center. This included conversation about the Small Business Institute course taught by Ataide, that each semester creates market-ready business plans for local businesses, Entrepreneurs and non-profits.

Ataide highlighted the Institute’s current projects which include a strategic business plan for Lazarian World Homes ( http://www.lazarianworldhomes.com/ ) and their efforts to build sustainable, affordable and safe homes throughout the world as well as a traditional new start-up for a construction service company in northern San Diego county. 

Chamberlin asked Ataide his opinion on the current attitudes of business students in light of the global economic crisis. Ataide offered that there were two significant areas of opportunity for coming graduates including the need for greater clarity and actionable and affordable economic analysis of for all businesses, as well as the burgeoning field of sustainable business practices and emerging technologies.

In the past months, Ataide has been interviewed by many local media outlets including several on air television appearances. Fox News, NBC and CW, among others, as well as participating in several economic forums hosted at PLNU.
