Technology in the PLNU MBA Program, recently completed the Carlsbad ‘Sprint’ Triathlon of 1K open ocean swimming, 25k bike and 5k run. Finishing an overall 375th out of over 1100 contestants, Oslovar was 20th in his age group with a time of 1:34:41 and through diligent training has continued to reduce his times and achieve new personal records.

“It was a lot of fun passing guys ½ my age on both the bike and the run portions, and when I passed a 32 year old guy and he shouted out that he was getting blown away by a 54 year old, it was very satisfying!” said Olsovar, noting that the contestant’s age is marked on the back of their right calves. “I’ve been doing triathlons for over 5 years and have competed in about 35 of them of varying distances, including the 2007 Ironman California,” added Oslovar.

Oslovar is the Director of Software Quality Assurance at Intellidot Corporation, and has had a long career in Science and Technology. IntelliDOT is a leading provider of wireless handheld, barcode point-
