Dr. Philip Tyler, conductor



The PLNU Orchestra, open to qualified majors, non-majors, and community musicians, performs a wide variety of literature for full and string orchestra, both on and off campus. Majors combine orchestra experience, solo study, and chamber music to round out their musical endeavors.

Fall Semester 2007 performance schedule:
  • November 10, 14, 15 at 7:30 p.m. and November 11 at 2:00 p.m. in Crill Performance Hall - Amahl and the Night Visitors
  • December 2 at 7:00 p.m. in Brown Chapel - The Messiah
  • December 7 at 7:30 p.m. in Crill Performance Hall - PLNU Orchestra (Bach Suite, Beethoven Fidelio Overture, Brahms Symphony No. 2)
  • December 9 at 3:00 p.m. in Crill Performance Hall - PLNU & YAS Orchestras (Schindler's List, Lincoln Portrait, Fanfare to the Common Man)
