COCO BONGO: The "Good to See You" Tour

The PLNU Jazz Band had the privilege of taking a tour in Cuba during the summer of 2005. It was an eye-opening experience as the students gave away their music stands and other musical items to the Cuban jazz bands they met.

SALSA...WHITE SAUCE*...AND THE BLUES

Salsa It is the most soloistic recording the band has done to date, and hopefully, when you listen to the recording, you will understand why. This CD was created because of the convergence of an incredible amount of solo talent in the jazz band. The Jazz Band is indebted to Miguel's Cocina, the local favorite at Point Loma, for their incredible food, and especially their white sauce. A copy of the recipe is included in the CD case.

WOMEN WHO COOK

The third Jazz Band recording from the Point Loma Instrumental Recording Project. It features many of the outstanding female vocalists in the department of music at the university. The band is proud to have collaborated with these women who truly "cook."
