FIRE AND MEDITATION
A collection of works for choir that have also been transcribed for band. Some of the great works of choral literature have been transcribed, and are performed on this CD. Randall Thompson's "Alleluia," Tschesnokov's "Salvation is Created," and Biebl's "Ave Maria" are but three of the works both sung by the choir and then played by the band. In addition, the band and the choir collaborated on two works- "Pentecostal Fire is Falling" and Wilhousky's "Battle Hymn of the Republic."
