Glen Campbell

Glen CampbellGlen Campbell, a former student of Bernard Greenhouse, earned a Master of Music in Cello Pedagogy from Hartt College of Music, University of Hartford in 1969 and has done doctoral work at University of California San Diego. He also holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Ball State University.

Mr. Campbell has performed with numerous orchestras from Connecticut to California, and performs locally in the San Diego Symphony, the San Diego Opera, and the La Jolla Chamber Orchestra. As a member of the Feld String Quartet, he has toured Mexico, performed live on KFAC, Los Angeles, and lectured at the University of Guadalajara.

Mr. Campbell is the director of the Suzuki Institute at San Diego State University, as well as the founder and co-director of the Strings by the Sea Music Camp held at PLNU each summer.
