Point Loma String Project Personnel
As a 2007 Point Loma Nazarene University undergraduate, Ryley Taylor has been involved with the PLNU String Project since 2004. She currently holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education and is enrolled in a California Teaching Credential Program at Chapman University, not only pursuing her teaching credential, but a Masters Degree as well. Miss Taylor’s primary instrument is the viola, in which she has studied under Elizabeth Monicelli and Rebecca Campbell, and is a classically trained violist. In addition, Miss Taylor also plays piano, violin and flute, as well as being a classically trained vocalist. She has worked closely with both former PLNU String Project master teacher's William Pordon and Tamara Paige, which have proven to be highly influential in her life. The String Project has provided Miss Taylor with both personal and professional growth, insight and enthusiasm in pursuing a career in music education. Her goal now is to become as influential a teacher as those who have inspired her throughout her life. Miss Taylor adores educating and motivating young musicians as she was once motivated and looks forward to working with the string project for a long time to come.
