 All-Hall Activities for Fall 2008

August:

  • Nease Hall Welcome Ceremony
  • University Experience - A female facutly member will talk to you about to expect during your first year at college.
  • Roommate Agreements - We want you to get off on the right foot, so we will provide ways for you to start the conversation foundational to living together.

     

September

  • Panel of Senior Women - They will share with you their journey at PLNU offering insights on how to be successful.
  • Bike to the Point and BBQ – Let's get those bikes out and use them!
  • Pistols, Pasion, and Pasta - A murder mystery dinner, we learn and use our Strengths to solve the mystery.

     

October:

  • Fall Festival (Trick or Treat) for Staff/Faculty Children
  • Nease Hall Book Club Begins - The Memory Keeper's Daughter

November:

  • Nease Hall Service Project

     

December:

  • Hanging of the Greens - This anual event is one of the favorites. We will have a visit from Santa, make cards and ornaments, and decorate our building.
  • Stress Buster Night - Yoga, massage, food, and fun - this night is available to de-stress from those big finals!

Nease Hall Welcome Ceremony

The Greek

The leadership of Nease Hall presnted the hall theme as well as give a representative gift to each new student. There was also a time of singing and Communion.

 

Spirit Times and Bell Competitions

Homecoming

We dressed in our green and gold and cheered with our study body, winning the Spirit Bell.  

 

Great Escape Trip for Nease and Young

We camped and canoed with Young Hall offering a great opportunity to get to know the guys of Young as well as experience the great country around the Colorado River.

 

Project Sweet Tooth

Nease Hall sponsored Campus Wide Event

We collected candy from across campus and donated it to local charity during the Halloween season.

 

Reading Group
We read Kite Runner and Secret Life of Bees, meeting weekly to discuss them.

 

Faculty/Staff Open House
We invited our campus to come check out the Residence Hall.

 

Singleness/Dating/Sexuality Forum
We heard a panel on singleness, dating, and sex. We had a great time of fellowship and discussion.

Relay for Life
Nease Hall rallied together and hosted two teams for Relay for Life.
