Access Your Personal University Information
Point Loma students have access to a fully customizable, information-packed Web site specific to their needs. This “My Point Loma” Web site is designed to serve as your personalized, customizable entry point, or “portal,” to get information and conduct business with the university. You will find valuable information here prior to attending orientation, including financial information, residence hall and roommate information, important messages from the university about next steps, and more.
As an admitted student, you are able to:
- Create a username that will ultimately become your Point Loma e-mail address
- Check the status of your financial aid package
- Check housing and roommate information (after July 1)
- Search the job board for on-campus and off-campus jobs
Here’s how it works:
- Direct your Web browser to https://my.pointloma.edu
- Click on the “Create Account” link on the left side of the screen
- Enter your PLNU Student ID# (found on your acceptance letter), last name, and zip code
- Verify your name and address on the next screen displayed
- Specify/change preferred name and e-mail address (non-Point Loma e-mail)
- Select username (this will become your Point Loma e-mail address) and password
- When your account is created, click on the “Students” tab at the top for financial aid information and more.

- Preface Summer Reading Program reflection questions
- StrengthsQuest Finder (get your personal code so you can take the assessment prior to orientation)
