The Way - Wilderness Orientation (July 19-26, 2008) Cost: $300
Imagine yourself in a pristine tall pine tree forest overlooking large granite cliffs and the clearest mountain lakes you have ever seen. Now add other new students excited to build friendship before attending their first year at Point Loma Nazarene University. This year's The Way will be hosted in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, just outside of Lone Pine, CA, for a week of backpacking. Groups are kept small to foster the best experience. Freshman Retreat (August 30-September 1, 2008) Cost: $115/$95

ASB Student Activities
One of the many things Associated Student Body (ASB), PLNU's student governement, does is plan a series of special events the first couple weeks of the year. MANE Events
Great ways to get invoved and demonstrate school spirit, MANE Events are all-campus, large group activities that have become "the place to be." Sponsored by student organizations and Student Development, MANE Events include food and fun, all built around athletics, music and drama.
