An open letter to Point Loma Nazarene University:

On behalf of my City Council colleagues, I want to extend a very special thank you to the administration, faculty, staff and students of Point Loma Nazarene University for so warmly welcoming us this past Monday, for our evening Council meeting on homeless issues. Brown Chapel was a wonderful setting for a discussion focused on a comprehensive and compassionate approach to homelessness in San Diego.

It was a pleasure to see so many students join us in the audience. I hope you will continue to follow your local government and perhaps join us at another meeting. Your input is vital in making San Diego’s government truly reflective of our diverse city.

Again, thank you to the entire Point Loma Nazarene University community for making us feel so welcome.
