We are pleased to provide pastors and lay leaders with a continuing education opportunity. Seminars by the Sea offer pastors a chance to escape to Point Loma for several days of knowledge and skill development. The goal of the seminars is to provide a cost-effective way for pastors to obtain practical information and ongoing education. For this reason, the seminars focus on a broad spectrum of topics including "The Life of the Minister", "Communicating the Gospel", "The Old Testament in the Christian Pulpit" and many more. Brief overviews of a few of our most recent seminars are included below. Seminars are offered in weeklong intensives ( four to five day intensives) and are facilitated by Point Loma Nazarene University professors as well as a variety of guest speakers and lecturers. Finally, these seminars provide the opportunity for pastors to meet, network, and relate to one another. Meals provided during the seminars offer the opportunity for discussing the seminar, or any other area that may be on the heart of the pastor. For more information on upcoming seminars, click here. |
