Description: Responsible for the overall organization, supervision, administration, and implementation, of the Children's Ministries programs for children ages birth through fifth grade. Work in conjunction with Elders, Lead Minister, and other Church leadership as necessary for the benefit and growth of God's kingdom in lakeside.

Qualifications and Duties:
Must be a Christain role model in attitude, speech, and actions towards others.
Be able to communicate and relate to children and adults in the church and community.
Oversee the recruitment of volunteers to work as teachers and helpers which includes background checks.
Administrate, delegate. and train leaders and helpers to carry out the planned programs.
Provide opportunities for volunteers to attend workshops and seminars to further their growth in teaching children
Assist teachers and helpers with room arrangments, scheduling, effective teaching methods, creative ideas, bulletin boards, etc.
Provide a plan for safety issues regarding children, teachers, and helpers including security and discipline policies.
Provide a plan for promoting programs for the Children's Ministries department which includes: Sunday School, Children's Church, Special Events, VBS, Harvest Festival, etc.
Be in attendance when there are children's programs running to provide oversight and direction.
Prepare and submit an annual budget to the Board for approval that includes programs, curriculum, workshops, training, special events, and other areas of organization. Work within the approved budget.
Work with the summer camp program to maximize participation by Lakeside Christian Church. Administrate the Camp Scholarship program as needed.
