The Gallup Organization and the Center for Pastoral Leadership have partnered to bring various Gallup University events to Point Loma Nazarene University. These events include:
Gallup Strengths-based Leadership Summit
The Gallup Strengths/Engagement Summit will elaborate on the Gallup Organization’s research into spiritually healthy churches and congregations. Gallup experts will show why talent discovery and development must precede congregational “involvement”.
The Summit will cover in depth the vitally important concept of membership engagement and why engagement is key to a thriving servant culture. Gallup research shows that many well meaning pastors are actually decreasing member engagement by focusing on desired outcomes such as serving and giving. Gallup research also shows there is a better way, a much better way to achieve the following four outcomes of:
- Inviting others to participate
- Financial support
- Life satisfaction
- Serving and helping others
Our next Summit is September 15-17, 2008.
