The Institute of Politics and Public Service is a 501c3 non-sectarian educational institution. The Institute provides important programs to students in its quest to serve the common interest of our nation by preparing a new generation of students for public service. The Institute and its programs are supported in part by Point Loma Nazarene University. Additional funds are always necessary for its annual operations, particularly to increase the number of students who can attend such activities as the AAPC’s Outreach Conference in Washington, D.C. For example, every additional $100 funds a student’s lodging at the Outreach Conference, or purchases a table for students at such events as City Club luncheons, or funds the airfare to the Model United Nations program. Point Loma Nazarene University, like all private universities, is an expensive educational institution. Students need help for the additional enrichment programs, and donations to such projects are fully tax-deductible if made through the Institute. A $1,000 donation allows the Institute to subsidize a variety of activity costs for students. Moreover, special projects, such as national conferences, depend entirely upon additional funds. Donations may be made by check or credit card through the Office of University Advancement. Please contact:
