In the summer of 1980, on-site visitations were made to twenty-five San Diego County Counseling and mental health agencies. At each agency, at least one representative was interviewed and agreement for a cooperative field experience was established.
In the fall of 2004, follow-up phone calls were made to each of these agencies to renew the 1980, 1984, 1996 and 2000 agreements and to update the description of the agency, the supervisors, addresses and telephone numbers. The "Student Handbook for Fieldwork in Psychology" is a 2004-2005 updated edition that will give the sequential steps students must take in order to complete the field studies classes.
