Vehicle Registration

Vehicle Registration Unknown (or inaccessible) property:CurrentPageVersion.PageID

Student Registration Only

ONLY STUDENTS WITH CHANGES TO RESIDENCE OR AUTOMOBILE INFORMATION WILL NEED A NEW PARKING PERMIT FOR 2009-2010.

Students must update their vehicle information only if something has changed with their resident or automobile registration for the 2009-2010 school year.

Register online at http://my.pointloma.edu. Your registration sticker will be mailed the next business day.  Note:  The registration process is NOT complete until the decal is installed on the inside lower left portion of the windshield of your vehicle.

If you do not have your current DMV registration, you will need to pick up an extended temporary pass from the Public Safety Office.

Failure to register your vehicle may result in a fine and/or your vehicle being cited. A $100 late registration fine is applied if you fail to register within the first ten days of the semester and there is a $50 fine for each registration citation thereafter.  These amounts will be placed directly on your student account.  If you obtain a new vehicle, you are required to register that vehicle within five days.

Notice:  First Year Students (Freshmen)

First year residential students are not permitted to bring vehicles to campus, nor may they park in surrounding neighborhoods or the city lot.  If you drive your vehicle on campus for any reason you are in violation of the Freshman Vehicle Violation Policy.  A freshman violating this policy will be fined $250 plus 10 hours of community service.  Second offense will result in an automatic referral to Traffic Review.
