Freshman Vehicle Policy

Important Information from the Office of Student Development

Freshman residents are NOT PERMITTED to bring vehicles to campus (even for a few minutes, this includes Holidays and Breaks), nor may they park in surrounding neighborhoods or the City Lot.

  1. This policy applies to all residential first year students who graduated from high school this year.  The policy extends through the student's first two semesters of full time enrollment.
  2. Vehicles are defined as any freeway worthy vehicle. (As defined by the California Vehicle Code). A scooter, under 50cc, may be registered with the campus if registered with the DMV (proper paperwork) and meets all the motorcycle/scooter registration requirements
  3. Freshmen violating the policy will be fined $250 plus 10 hours of community service. Second offense will result in an automatic referral to Traffic Review.

Enrollment may be jeopardized if this policy is intentionally violated.
