Point Loma Nazarene University is a top tier liberal arts university situated on 92 acres of the most beautiful coastline in San Diego. As an educational and cultural epicenter, PLNU serves the San Diego community with regularly scheduled sporting and cultural events that are open to the public. Parking PassesParking regulations require all campus visitors to stop at the campus entrance Welcome Center for a one-day parking permit and directions to desired campus location. The parking permit is to be displayed clearly on the dashboard driver side. This permit helps Community Service Officers assist campus guests and visitors. Parking LocationsParking is permitted in any marked space with a valid PLNU visitor's pass. Parking for disabled persons(due to construction some spots may not be available) requires a valid Disabled Persons vehicle license or placard clearly displayed on the vehicle. Vehicles parked in red zones or fire lanes are subject to citation and impound. Bus AccessAll Buses are to check in at the campus Welcome Center for directions for loading and unloading. Designated campus areas to turn buses around will be given to the bus driver; during the regular school year with full campus occupancy, buses must depart campus after unloading and return to retrieve passengers. All directions for bus loading, unloading and staging off campus will be provided at the campus Welcome Center. Coastal Viewing and Access
Coastal viewing and community access is permitted from the campus of Point Loma Nazarene University from the City Lot. The City Lot is located north of the Physical Plant/Campus Services facility on the western edge of the campus. Any vehicles parked by dorms for the purpose of coastal access for surfing may result in vehicle towing regardless of possession of parking pass.
