My.pointloma.edu (previously Student Access)
To log into my.pointloma.edu (your new student account) for the first time, go to www.pointloma.edu. Click on Current Students, then Student Access, then Setup my.pointloma.edu. Enter the required information. Setup only needs to be done once, so the next time you go to my.pointloma.edu, you can enter your login information. Your student account provides access to web registration, your session schedule, session grades, unofficial transcript, etc.

Records
DEGREE POSTING - Students completing their degree requirements in the Summer semester will have their degrees posted beginning August 31st. If you plan to complete your degree this semester, you must have all coursework, fieldwork, and paperwork completed by that date in order to have your degree posted.
SESSION SCHEDULE - Please check your session schedule online at my.pointloma.edu to make sure that you are registered properly for the courses you are attending this quad/semester. Contact your location as soon as possible if your schedule is incorrect.
Bookstore
Mission Valley Bookstore hours are now 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday. We are offering some new items, so come check us out!
One Day textbook buyback on the Point Loma campus will be July 28th, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., at the bookstore buyback window in Nicholson Commons. The next buyback will be August 21-25 at the same location.
Student Financial Services
Financial Aid (Attention all students) - The Office of Student Financial Services is excited to announce that starting in the fall 2006 semester all financial aid documents will be delivered to you via your pointloma.edu email address. To set up access to your account, please go to my.pointloma.edu.
Scholarship Information (Attention all students) - It’s not too late to apply for the Carlton L. Burlison Scholarship! This scholarship was established by the Burlison family in memory of Carlton L. Burlison, M.D. The applicant must be enrolled in a graduate or teaching credential program at any PLNU graduate location. For more information regarding eligibility criteria and application please contact your local Student Financial Services Advisor:

Student Accounts (Attention all students) - Payment of total charges for the summer semester is due at the end of the second week of the term unless you signed up for a multiple payment plan.
Please submit payment using one of the three payment options:
By Phone - Call your Student Financial Services Office at your location (Credit Card Payments only)
In-Person - Visit your Student Financial Services Office at your location, Mon- Fri, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Check and Credit Card Payments)
By Mail - Send the bottom portion of your statement in the provided return envelope (Check or Credit Card)

NEW WEBSITE ADDRESS - I am pleased to announce www.pointloma.edu, our new Point Loma Nazarene University Web address. In addition, e-mail addresses now have the same structure (e.g., michelecorbett@pointloma.edu).
Although the new url and e-mail addresses are functioning, the old ones will still work until July 1, 2007. We have a year to make all of the necessary changes. Please begin to use the new url. I hope you are as excited as I am about this change! pointloma.edu is such a natural way to refer to ourselves. In no other instances do we use "Pt. Loma."
