A combined maximum of 70 units may be transferred to PLNU from the following sources:

  • Community colleges
  • AP
  • CLEP
  • IB

The following is a list of approved San Diego County community college General Education (GE) transfer courses. All listed courses cannot be taken via non-traditional delivery means, such as TV or online. Lower-division courses from a junior college will not transfer for upper-division (300-400 level) requirements at PLNU. All GE and major courses must be taken for a letter grade, not pass/fail. If you are planning to retake a course, please refer to PLNU's repeat policy.

1  The GE or General Education courses listed in these agreements are created for students pursuing a Bachelor's degree at PLNU.  Some majors may require a student to choose a specific GE course from the list.  Please consult the PLNU catalog to determine which courses may be required for your major.

2  The GE or General Education courses listed in these agreements are created solely for students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at PLNU.  Additional non-GE courses are also listed here; these courses are required for the Nursing major.  Please consult the PLNU catalog to view all of the courses in the Nursing major.
