If you are using a computer that is NOT on the PLNU campus network (Dialup, DSL, or Cablemodem connection) you will be prompted for a username and password in order to use Reference Databases.

USERNAME

For the USERNAME you will need to provide your "Firstname Lastname"
For example if your name is John Smith enter John Smith in the box provided

PASSWORD

You must use 8 digits as your PASSWORD
Use the following method to determine your 8 digit password

For the first 6 digits:

• If your student ID number is less than 6 numbers

Pad it with 0's at the beginning until you have 6 numbers
For example: if your ID number is 4567 your password would begin with 004567

• If your student ID number is 6 numbers

Use those numbers as your first 6 digits
For example: If your ID number is 346578 your password would begin with 346578 For the remaining 2 digits  

• If you have NEVER had your ID card printed

Your password will end in 09
For example: if your ID number is 4567 and you  have never had your ID card printed, your  password would be entered as 00456709
If your ID number is 346578 and you have never had your ID card printed, your password would be 34657809

• If you have had your ID card printed, changed or replaced

Your entire 8 digit password will appear on the lower right hand front of your ID card, just under the barcode
For example if your ID number as printed on your ID card is 00456710 use 00456710 as your password
