Moments in Brasil

The training project for Brasil is being finalized. Dr. Johnson has been invited to provide consultation, seminars and training for teachers, educational leaders, and pastors, and strengthen relationships with the new University/Seminary faculty and students in Campinas.

Dr. Johnson will also be interviewing spiritual leaders and Pastors and conducting field research related to his sabbatiacal study titled, A Study of Brain-Based Learning Theory and Neurobiological Development: Implications for Spiritual Development and Instructional  and Church Practice for Emerging Adults

1.  Presentations and training seminars reflect Foundational Themes as a consistent undergirding of all teaching/learning.

2.  The focus of the Training Content Areas would be on differentiating instruction for all learners to maximize teacher effectiveness.

3.  Individualized Content - Each session or training seminar would focus on one or more of the following content areas below:

  • Differentiated Teaching (building effective tools to connect learning and the diverse learner)
  • Brain-based learning
  • Instructional Strategies/Practices
  • Classroom Climate and Management
  • Leadership Training - Making a Difference in Cross Cultural Settings
