BTSA Induction

Graduate Units for BTSA Induction Work

 

Point Loma's School of Education recognizes the power of the BTSA Induction program to support beginning teachers and veteran support providers in their development as highly qualified, high performing educators who impact student learning in K-12 classrooms.

 

In partnership with specific BTSA programs, Point Loma offers beginning teachers up to 6 units of graduate credit for meeting BTSA Induction standards and requirements at a proficient or higer level. 

 

Up to 6 units of graduate credit is also offered to support providers who demonstrate evidence of their reflective coaching expertise related to the BTSA program quality standards and the formative assessment system for beginning teachers.

BTSA beginning teachers and support providers interested in only BTSA units:

 

Level II Professional Clear Credential for Mild-Moderate and Moderate Severe Teaching Credentials

Special education BTSA Induction teachers are encouraged to contact the nearesst Point Loma location to  see how the School of Education works with BTSA programs to integrate professional clear credential requirements with BTSA Induction practicum requirements in a cohesive course of study from the special education teacher's perspective.   See location contacts.

 

Master of Arts in Education Program

BTSA beginning teachers and support providers interested in applying BTSA induction work to a Master of Arts in Education degree in Teaching and Learning or Special Education are invited to view the information on these programs located on the right side bar.
