 Professional Clear Administrative Services Credential (Tier II)

The Professional Clear Administrative Services Credential (Tier II) is offered at all four PLNU regional centers - Arcadia, Bakersfield, Inland Empire (Corona and Rancho Cucamonga) and Mission Valley in San Diego. The Professional Clear Administrative Services Credential (Tier II) Program is very "user friendly", relevant to the day-to-day work of the beginning administrator, and provides flexibility in the options for meeting goals and professional development requirements. 

This 6 unit program consists of a self-assessment of administrative skills aligned with the California Professional Standards for Educational Leaders (CPSELs), support and guidance from a designated administrative mentor, and an individualized induction and professional development plan designed to enhance the candiate's level of competency as a beginning administrator.

Required courses for the Professional Clear Administrative Services Credential are:

  • GED796 Induction, Mentoring, and Advanced fieldwork (3 units)
  • GED797 Professional Development and Assessment (3 units)


Students may enter the program at the beginning of any Quad.  the program normally takes six to eight months to complete.  For example, if the candidte begins the program in September they will complete the program in April or June.  If they begin in January, they would finish the following September.  Candidates must have completed two full years as an administrator prior to apllying for the professional Clear Administrative services Credential (Tier II).
