The 2nd Annual Advanced Practice Nursing Celebration was held on Monday, May 4, 2009,
4-6 p.m. on the main campus in Brown Chapel, and featured guest speaker
and PLNU alumna Patricia Benner, RN, Ph.D., FAAN, FRCN!
Advanced Practice Nursing Awards were presented
to the following distinguised nurses:
Evelyn Anderson, PhD, RN -- Nursing Education Award
Barbara Bailey, MS, RN -- CNS Gerontology Award
LCDR Jeanne Jimenez, MSN, RN, CNS -- CNS Family Health Award
Beth Palmer, DNP, RN, ANP-BC, CNS -- CNS Medical Surgical Award
Lois Wagner, MN, RN, CS -- CNS Mental Health
