Clinical Background/Academic Focus:
Dr. Kay has worked in many areas of nursing, including Medical Surgical, Cardiac, Renal Diabetic, Mental Health and Primary Care. She has spoken extensively on HIV/AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Infections with an emphasis on abstinence education. Having a love for cross-cultural nursing with underserved populations, she has led mission trips to Mexico, the Caribbean and Ecuador.

Dr. Kay was born and raised in Pasadena, CA. Married now for 37 years, she and her husband are grandparents of 8 beautiful grandchildren.
