Clinical Background/Academic Focus:
Dr. Rankin has worked as a staff nurse in the US Navy, and as a psychiatric-mental health nurse and case manager in Ann Arbor Michigan. he has taught as a Diversity Lecturer, as well as teaching Nursing Management/leadership, Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing as an undergraduate and graduate nurse educator in Michigan and at Point Loma Nazarene University. He has been a Parish Nurse Liaison with the Mercy Health System.

Personal Note:
Dr. Rankin moved to California in 2002 from Ann Arbor Michigan where he taught at Eastern Michigan University. He is married with two daughters and one son. He lives in Murrieta, CA. Some of his passions include vocal and instrumental music, swimming, and playing basketball.
