Clinical Background/Academic Focus:

Professor Rowe has experienced a varied career including inpatient obstetrical care, childbirth education, public health division manager for maternal and child health services in a local health department, and nursing education of undergraduates as well as RN to BSN nursing students.

Personal Note:

Professor Rowe has enjoyed a rich career in nursing, both in the hospital and community health setting. After eleven years teaching in a state university nursing program, she joined the PLNU nursing faculty in 2000. She loves working in a small Christian University, where she can work and fellowship closely with nursing students and faculty. Professor Rowe is married and has a grown daughter and son with a lovely wife and two beautiful granddaughters. She and her husband, Michael, reside in Pacific Beach, where they enjoy long walks on the beach and beautiful sunsets.
