Clinical Background/Academic Focus:
Dr. Kim has experience in Med/Surg and ICU nursing. Her passion includes teaching Med/Surg/ICU Nursing, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology and Nursing Research. She has taught at Southern Connecticut State University in the past and currently serves as a faculty at the San Diego Evidence-Based Practice Institute. Dr. Kim has developed a psychometric instrument, the Kim Alliance Scale (KAS), which measures the quality of the relationship between the health care provider and patient. She is currently involved in several research activities related to the Evidence-Based Practice.
