My visit to the mosque and Islamic studies centre went wonderfully! What an amazing trip to Lamu, and seriously good discussion with the leading Muslims of this college regarding how they understand the Qur'an and its message. I even spent a little time talking about Adam's naming of the creatures with them - one of the stories that is significantly reshaped in the Qur'an's telling of it. Wow! How much fun?
 
Tomorrow it's on to our last safari - a real, follow-up safari to Lake Nikuru, where they say the pink flamingos take your breath away. But for now, Bwana aku bariki ("The Lord bless you"). Amen.
