Major Concentrations and Advising Guidelines

Once a student has officially declared a major with the School of Theology and Christian Ministry:

  • The student will be assigned a Facutly Advisor.
  • When notified of the assignment, the student should contact the Advisor directly, to schedule an intial advising appointment. 
  • Prior to the appointment, the student will download and complete applicable advising forms as noted below. Student should take the completed forms to the scheduled advising meeting

General Education

Majors


Download and complete forms applicable to declared major[s]

A Music and Ministry major is offered through the Music Department.  Please refer to the University Catalog for specifics.  (Note: If you choose this major, you will be assigned an advisor from the Music Department.)


Minors


The School of Theology and Christian Ministry offers three minor concentrations, as listed below; however, an Academic Advisor will not be assigned for these concentrations. We ask that you refer to the University Catalog for specifics on each.
