What do you want to be when you grow up?

I'm thinking about going to Medical School to become a doctor (I am interested in Cardiology and Oncology). If I don't go to Medical School, then I'd really like to do something that is involved with environmental science and environmental health. I also want to be a mom!

What are you passionate about?  What interests do you have?

I am passionate about traveling and helping others. I love discovering new places in the world, and I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I also really love working with kids.

Why did you choose Kyiv for a missions experience?

I am really interested in Eastern Europe. Also, I was excited to hear that our team will be working at a teen summer camp...I worked as a camp counselor and lifeguard for a summer at a camp for mentally and physically disabled kids and adults. It was an amazing job!

What Bible verse or Christian truth has been really meaningful to you in the last year?

Life gets difficult from time to time, but I have learned to remember that God is always in control, and that He will never give us any trial that we can't handle. He allows us to go through tough situations so that we can rely on Him for guidance and so we can draw closer to Him.

What are you most excited about?

What do you love to do when you have a full day or series of days off from school and work?

I love to relax! I love being able to get up early and not have to worry about going to school or work. I really enjoy going out to breakfast or lunch with friends and I LOVE the beach. Spending time at home with friends or doing something fun outdoors on a sunny day sounds pretty good to me!

If you could have a superhero strength what would you choose?

I might consider the ability to go back in time...but then I don’t think I would learn as much from my mistakes. I think having the ability to read entire books in mere seconds would be nice...then I wouldn’t have to spend so much time reading and studying my science textbooks!

What would you like to say to the folks in Ukraine?

To the field, I would like to say that I feel so blessed to have this opportunity to work alongside all of them.  What an amazing adventure it will be to meet new friends, to see God work, and to serve Him together.  I'm so excited!
