What do you want to be when you grow up?
If you had asked me this question 20 years ago, I would have said a Marine Biologist, or a Physical Therapist. As a 28 year old, I still contemplate and dream of what the Lord has in store for my life, and as of now, I feel called to be a loving mother and missionary serving abroad.
What are you passionate about?  What interests do you have?
I am passionate about helping and encouraging people and hearing their stories. I am absolutely inspired by travel, and seeing God’s creativity and brilliance in different countries and cultures. I love anything active, sports and outdoor recreation. I really enjoy art, painting, drawing, watercolor, etc., anything to be creative.
Why did you choose Kyiv for a missions experience?
The opportunity to serve in Kyiv was a surprise blessing for sure. My husband and I had a conversation with Sylvia about the possibility. The right doors were open and the rest was history. Never before had I ever imagined nor dreamed that I would be able to serve in Ukraine and I’m truly thankful and excited.
What Bible verse or Christian truth has been really meaningful to you in the last year?
I am in awe of the foundational truth of God’s grace and mercy. It’s amazing that we are given a new beginning each and every day.
What are you most excited about?
Three things come to mind, meeting the people, playing with the children and touring the countryside.
What do you love to do when you have a full day or series of days off from school and work?
Ideally, I would love to travel with my husband, visit family, or have a leisure day in the sun.
If you could have a superhero strength what would you choose?
I wold want to fly, but even more I would love to have the power to heal.
What would you like to say to the folks in Ukraine?
I can’t wait to meet you all!
