Last year, PLNU had the privilege of joining sisters and brothers in Christ in the country of Liberia. Liberia has just recently emerged from a long and brutal civil war. Our team there last year was blessed by the hope, kindness and hospitality of the Liberian church. We have been invited to extend that relationship this year. Tim Eby, one of our hosts, sent the following email to the LoveWorks office:

Thanks for your willingness to be available to West Africa. We have excellent national leadership and they offer significant ministry and cultural experiences for you. We would like to have you go to Liberia again; we would want you to travel to the Southeast district in Zwedru. This would be a little more rustic location and would require the team to be ready to rough it. This area needs encouragement by the international church. They are steadily growing the church and discipling believers. They have community compassionate ministry projects, they have children outreach programs and some small building projects that would really be blessed by your students presence. In the history of our church they have only been visited by anyone from outside Liberia only a couple times in the past 10 years.
