LoveWorks Teams

Mother with baby on back

LoveWorks is committed to preparing students for opportunities to explore and live out what it means to be global Christians. Our LoveWorks teams are made up of 10–12 Point Loma students from varying majors, with leadership given by our faculty, staff, and alumni. These teams exist to serve as a resource to the ongoing ministry efforts taking place around the world. Each team is unique, and focuses their training and preparation on the needs and request of their host location.

LoveWorks Ministry Sites

Thanks to an extensive international ministry network through the Church of the Nazarene, our PLNU LoveWorks teams serve around the world in a variety of continuing ministry efforts. All of our teams have been invited to serve in these locations. International pastors, congregations, and missionaries are aware of PLNU students and the LoveWorks commitment to sending well-trained, culturally sensitive, and flexible teams.

As a result, our teams are often called upon to work in challenging and remote areas of the world. Our teams willingly respond and travel to serve and learn alongside our brothers and sisters in Christ. In many ways, the trip is just he beginning; and the expereince is such that a lifetime of lessons and direction can be derived from this time abroad.
