About Me: I love spending time with my hubby no matter what we're doing. I adore nature and the peace, serenity, and closeness I feel to the Lord while experiencing it. I love spending time with family & friends and serving others.

Interests/Hobbies: Travel - anywhere! Anything active/sports, i.e., rock-climbing, running, basketball & volleyball ... I also enjoy being creative through various media: painting, watercolors, card-crafting, quilting, etc. I'm most interested in people, especially my family & friends and spending time with them.

Favorite TV: Lost, Friends, Grey's Anatomy & Top Chef

Favorite Movies: Sweet Home Alabama, Braveheart, & I'm ashamed to admit it, but 80's movies like Sixteen Candles & Better Off Dead

Favorite Books: Memoirs of a Geisha, In the Name of Jesus, too many to mention!

Favorite Food/Restaurant: Bean and rice burrito, peach bread, mashed potatoes & fruit. Favorite restaurant in the Cheesecake Factory -- yummmmmmm...

Would most like to visit: Israel

Heroes: Jesus & my husband (cheesy, but true)

Favorite Holiday Memory: Not necessarily my favorite, but it sticks out in my mind. My sister would unwrap our presents when my mother wasn't around, and I remember being so disappointed that my great-grandmother knitted me ANOTHER pair of slippers. I remember feeeling so proud of myself for pretending to be excited about them. I would do anything to have those slippers now.
