10-10-2008    Roseanna Cannaday (PLNU Parent): Please pray that God will place His loving hand and favor over the lives of me and my daughter and our finances. Please pray that God will also place His loving hand and and favor over the relationship between me and my mom so that the relationship will be healed and restored and we can grow close
7-08-2008 PLNU Alumni:  I'm a graduate of PLNU (class of '87) who read about the deaths of Todd and Stephanie McFarland last week. The U-T article says they are graduates of PLNU. They were in a terrible car accident and their children survived; although, the article said the oldest was in critical condition. I believe this was in Utah and they were traveling to or from a wedding. Please pray for their families and for their children left behind.
4-25-2008 Hope (PLNU Student): I was recently divorced.  Please pray that I am not forced out of my apartment and that I will always be employed in a well paying stable job with a good work environment that pays all the bills and rent. Please pray that God will heal me of all emotional and health problems and help guide me so I can become financially self sufficient in a fulfilling job and career. Thank you.
2-22-2008 Joan (PLNU Student): Please pray for my husband Joe . He just left to go to Iraq with the Marines. Please pray that he'll come home safe and well this September. Also pray for strength for me. Thanks!
2-11-2008 PLNU Student: Please pray for Brenda Pestal (a former student), her husband Chris, and their children Noah and Caleb. They are living and teaching in Turkey right now. Please pray for continued strength and safety for them.
2-4-2008 Crystal (PLNU Staff): My Dad is 54 years old and has been fighting two cancers over the past 3 1/2 years. He is now mostly confined to bed and has recently needed to increase his intake of morphine to help relieve the pain. Please pray against fear and for divine protection and grace, as the morphine often causes hallucinations and scary dreams. Please pray that my Mom would continue to have incredible strength, perseverance and love that God has so clearly blessed her with especially over these past few months and years.
1-17-2008 Dr. Mary Paul: Thanks for the prayers for my husband Bruce. He came through the surgery well and continues in a 5-6 week recovery.
1-7-2008 Dr. Mary Paul: Prayers are requested for my husband Bruce. He will be having open heart surgery on Wednesday, January 9th. Thank you.
10-16-2007 Dr. Mary Paul: Please prayer for a good friend Shane Brue who is battling cancer. He is worn out from the fight. Pray also for his wife and five little children.
10-4-2007 PLNU Student: Please be praying for my father who is having valve repair surgery on Oct. 5th.  May God grant him the strength of endurance to follow-up with the proper rest, diet, nutrition, and physical therapy. May family, friends and associates, surround him with an encouraging presence of the Lord. and lastly for safe travel from Cleveland, Ohio (Where the surgery is taking place) to Monrovia, CA (home). Thank you for your prayers.
10-4-2007

PLNU Student: My mom had tests done on Monday and Tuesday (Oct 1st and 2nd) which will determine whether or not she has breast cancer.  I am very scared for her.  She wants whatever God's will is, but also wants courage for whatever it is the test will say. I am not ready for her to have cancer and neither is she, but we want what God's will is.

9-12-2007 Kathy (PLNU Parent): Jamie in Australia is on life support. Please pray for her.
9-11-2007 Nancy Clayton (PLNU Parent): I covenant to pray for an annointing of the Holy Spirit on each faculty member and PLNU student regularly. This is HIS Kingdom and we are HIS glory, forever and ever. That is HIS design and our priviledge and power source. Amen.
9-10-2007 PLNU Parent: Freshman daughter has chronic illness that is keeping her from "entering in" life at Loma. Pray for healing and restoration.
