This form will inform the Study Abroad office of your interest in studying abroad.  It is not an application to study abroad, but is a first step in the process towards spending a semester, year, or summer abroad.  Please answer all the questions below to the best of your ability.

DEADLINE FOR ALL PROGRAM MATERIALS IS NOVEMBER 1 FOR SPRING PROGRAMS AND APRIL 1 FOR FALL/SUMMER PROGRAMS


(A late fee of $100 will apply to all completed applications received after this date)



  • Students studying abroad through the PLNU Study Abroad Office are eligible for state and federal loans/grants.
  • PLNU financial aid does NOT apply towards study abroad expenses EXCEPT when the program is required by the student’s major.
  • Grades earned while studying abroad will appear on PLNU transcripts but are NOT calculated in students’ cumulative GPA
  • The PLNU administrative fee for study abroad is $450 for semester programs & $250 for summer
