The Office of International Studies is collaborating with several other academic departments and student services to provide a wide range of programs, workshops, student organizations, and events for all of our students returning from studies abroad.
Student OrganizationWe strongly encourage each and every one of you to get involved in the various student organizations on campus. Many of these clubs are designed for students with international experience and the type of global perspective developed through study abroad, LoveWorks short-term missions, and international internships. The International Club, as well as the myriad of culture-based clubs on campus, would benefit greatly from your experience and passion for global issues. Visit the PLNU clubs & organizations page at: http://www.pointloma.edu/CampusLife/ClubsOrganizations.htm
EventsThe most effective way for students to process their international experiences and the development of a global perspective is to share those experiences with other students who have similar interests, broadening their worldviews. Therefore, several activities will be organized throughout the year to bring students together for dinners at various ethnic restaurants, movies, and travel story/picture sharing events.
