PLNU Ghana
Gain hands-on experience in international development programs and projects in Ghana.
At the Human Factor Leadership Academy (HFLA) in Akatsi, Ghana students will take leadership seminars in the international development industry, Microenterprise, Microfinance, and local government. Students will also have the opportunity to teach basic computer related skills (i.e., Microsoft Office) to the children and youth at the HFLA. A variety of field trips will enhance classroom experiences. In addition, the group will take trips to experience the history and natural beauty of Ghana.
Dates:
- San Diego: May 12-15
- Ghana: May 18-June 19
Cost:
- approximately $4,500

Credits: 4 units
- Contemporary Economic Development Economics 470: counts towards required upperdivision requirement for International Development Studies and Economics Majors
- Registration will be for the Summer 2009
