On-Call Tutors
Tutors offer individual or small groups of tutorial sessions for many courses. They are only available for prescheduled appointments. Appointments and cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance. Tutoring is free to Point Loma students. The Tutorial Center is open Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please call (619)849-2593 to schedule an appointment.
Supplemental Tutors Special review sessions are held before each exam in several courses. Call the Tutorial Center, 849.2593, for dates, times and locations. There is no charge.
Private Tutors The Tutorial Center provides a list of private tutors by subject who instruct for a fee. The tutor and the student determine the time and place for each session. The Tutorial Center provides names and phone numbers of current approved tutors to families in the community seeking tutorial services for their children. |
