Application Deadlines
November 15 –
Early Action Deadline for fall admission (response by December 20)
February 15 – Priority Deadline for fall admission (responses rolling between mid March and early April)
Application Checklist
1. Complete the Application for Admission
A $50 application fee must accompany the application. This fee is nonrefundable. Through our
Online Application Site, students have the choice of applying electronically, downloading an application, or requesting a paper application.
2. Request Two Recommendations:
- Ministerial Recommendation (front | back)*

3. Request an Official Transcript of Your Academic Work
Request an official transcript from your high school and enclose it in your application packet. If you're taking any college classes, enclose transcripts from those as well. After you've graduated, be sure to send us your completed transcript.
4. Submit the Results of Your SAT or ACT
If you have taken the exam and have not arranged for your scores to be sent to PLNU, please submit a photocopy of your personal test report and request to have your scores sent to us. If you have not taken the SAT or ACT, you should arrange to do so through your high school counselor's office. For test dates, please see the

5. Request an Admissions Interview with an Admissions Counselor (OPTIONAL)
We strongly encourage our applicants to complete an admissions interview with their admissions counselor, but an interview is not required. Students who wish to arrange an in-person or phone interview should either contact our campus visit coordinator (CVC) at 800-733-7770 or refer to our
campus visit page. Please contact our CVC at least one month before the application deadline to arrange your interview.
6. Photocopy All Application Materials
Keep copies of your application materials for your records before mailing the originals to the PLNU Office of Admissions.
7. Obtain a Certificate of Mailing
You should obtain a certificate of mailing from the U.S. Postal Service if submitting your application by mail.
8. Follow Up With Your Admissions Counselor
If you have not received verification of receipt within one month of sending your application packet, please contact your
admissions counselor. It is your responsibility to make sure your admission file is complete.
