Campus Visit Coordinator
Where you were born? I was born in San Francisco and grew up in San Diego.
What did you study in college?B.A. Communication Studies; M.A. Marriage & Family Therapy (in progress).
What were your favorite involvements in college and why? My favorite involvements were serving as a Resident Assistant, spending a semester working and studying in San Francisco, Gospel Choir, and mission trips to Mexico.
What's a word or phrase that describes you? A great phrase to describe me is: "what you see is what you get." I am a very genuine, down-to-earth person and I value honesty and openness.
What's your favorite San Diego past time? There are so many amazing ways to spend your time in San Diego: museums in Balboa Park, dinner in Old Town, an afternoon in beautiful Coronado island, a fun baseball game at Petco Park and a whole lot more!
What advice would you give to an incoming PLNU student?
It is so important to look at your college experience as more than figuring out what career you want or how you can find the best job. It is learning about your strengths and weaknesses, how to live in community with others, how to handle responsibility and how to find your purpose in life. Focus on more than finding out what you want to do; figure out who you want to become.
If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
Definitely a giraffe. Not only do they get to live in Africa, but they are graceful and unique. (And I can do a pretty good impression of a giraffe drinking water!).
