Since 1993, the Pasadena/Point Loma Alumni Association has awarded scholarship funds to needy students whose parents or grandparents are PLNU graduates. Alumni Scholarships are funded through private donations from alumni and friends of Point Loma, from Point Loma Alumni Visa Card purchases, and from funds raised through the Alumni House.

The Alumni Association Endowed Scholarships are for students who:

• Are the children or grandchildren of PLNU graduates
• Have completed 81 units (including 24 units completed at PLNU)
• Have a GPA of 3.300 or higher
• Have financial need (based on the FAFSA)
• Are involved in college, community and/or church activities
