Point Loma Nazarene University announces a conference commemorating the life and work of Mildred Bangs Wynkoop on the 100th anniversary of her birth. Wynkoop was one of the most prominent Wesleyan theologians of the 20th century. She taught at Western Evangelical Seminary (1956-1961), Japan Nazarene Theological Seminary (1961-1966), Trevecca Nazarene University (1966-1976), the Nazarene Theological Seminary (1976-1979). Her books include Foundations of Wesleyan-Arminian Theology (1967) and A Theology of Love (1972).
