The Wesleyan Center for 21st Century Studies at PLNU has announced plans for its next conference, commemorating the tercentenary of the birth of John Wesley (1703-1791).

The 'Art' of John Wesley  Teaching, Preaching, Serving is scheduled for October 2 - 4 , 2003 on the main campus of Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego.

Co-sponsored by the office of the President, the Department of University Advancement, the University Provost and the Academic Deans, and the Wesleyan Center for 21st Century Studies, the three-day conference is being developed around the themes of teaching, preaching and serving. Speakers include Dr. Lloyd Ogilvie, chaplain of the United States Senate; well-known author and academician, Dallas Willard of the University of Southern California; and the Rev. Leslie Griffiths, superintendent minister of Wesley's Chapel, London.
