Jake Gilbertson

Resident Director, Young Hall

Favorite Food: Sushi, Mexican, Italian, chili dogs, fast food, and anything from a crock-pot.
Biggest Fear: Having to pass a kidney stone.
Life Aspirations: To travel the world, have deep and meaningful friendships, and become more like Christ everyday.
Favorite PLNU Memory: All the time with the boys was amazing.  I made some of the best friendships here, but meeting and falling in love with my wonderful wife was the best.

Favorite Food: Halibut with baked potato
Biggest Fear:   A tie between King Kong coming back and Vanilla Ice coming back.
Life Aspirations: To be Batman.
Favorite PLNU Memory: Superhero Bowling Night

Favorite Food: Filet Mignon barbequed with lemon pepper.  Mmmm!
Biggest Fear:   Flamingos
Life Aspirations: To keep on keepin on, to not stop til I sweat, and to always run with the wind at my back.
Favorite PLNU Memory: Superhero Bowling, "Hot Cops"

Favorite Food: Milk
Biggest Fear:   Bears, you know why.
Life Aspirations: Graduate college, get a job, marry someone, have kids, retire, die happy, get into a knife fight (achieved).
Further Life Aspirations: Sail to Brazil with Steve Bravo, scope aurora borealis, eat snake, run for governor, run from the governor, climb a mountain and then turn around, swim in a pool of noodles, motorcycle the Great Wall, give a speech.
Favorite PLNU Memory: Ask Nate about the one time with that one thing.

Life Aspirations: To become a firefighter.
Favorite PLNU Memory: Superhero Bowling dressed up as the Hot Cops and having all nine of us bowl down the same ally at the same time to get a strike.

Favorite Food: Chicken Pot Pie
Biggest Fear:   Full body sunburn.
Life Aspirations: I am working to become a doctor specializing in infectious diseases.  I plan to travel to remote corners of the world and treat people suffering at the hands of rare diseases.  I also want to work as a medical scientist researching treatments and cures to virulent diseases.
Favorite PLNU Memory: A friend of mine had to sincerely apologize to our biology teacher for making fun of microbes.  That professor loves microbial life and was genuinely offended when someone defamed the name of prokaryotes (rightly so in my opinion).  It was hilarious.

Shawn Wroughton

Favorite Food: Sushi or anything asian.
Biggest Fear:   Maybe not a fear, but if it's dark and I am alone my mind plays tricks on me.
Life Aspirations: Own hotels and fund hospitals, orphanages, and shelters through the profits of these hotels..
Favorite PLNU Memory: I can't pick just one memory -- life here is so rich and vivid.

Biggest Fear:   Aliens taking over the world and not having Will Smith there to save us!
Life Aspirations: Do something I love for a living while glorifying God.
Favorite PLNU Memory: Winning the intramural football championship in the last minute of the game.
