CSET Mathematics
The California Subject Examinations for Teachers (CSET) are subject examinations for prospective teachers who choose or are required to meet specific requirements for certification. In California, a single subject teaching credential authorizes the holder to teach a specific subject. A multiple subject teaching credential allows the holder to teach all subjects in a self-contained classroom.
CSET Mathematic Prep Courses:
PLNU will offer CSET math prep courses during the end of summer and three times throughout the school year. The courses will cover mathematics subtests 1 and 2. Participants will earn three units of continuing education/professional studies credit per course. Each course is six sessions in length and costs $390 (includes materials). When you apply and pay for courses, please select Corona courses, then Corona-Inland Empire Math.
Session 1 will prepare participants for CSET subtest 1- Algebra and Number Theory
Session 2 will focus on subtest 2- Geometry, Probability and Statistics-
